I discovered two new-to-me bridges over the last week, both with wooden planks.
Crappy photo of the more scenic one, sadly.
I’m definitely going to visit that gravel road again sometime to get a better photo or five.
This, however, is my favorite of the two. It’s just such a delight to find something this primitive on a public road.
As much of a pain in the ass as my Jeep is (currently sitting at a local Jeep mechanic’s shop waiting for him to try to diagnose my death wobble ) I love having the confidence to drive any dirt/gravel/mud /grass road to see where it takes me.

Also the Indianapolis Bridge Comp'y was doing some real fine work in 1885...

I prefer covered bridges and high steel. Deception pass is one of my favorites. Doggo hates it tho.

That second bridge is impressive. I have somewhat more monumental tastes I think. Like the Hell Gate Bridge:
